Gibson Custom introduces the limited edition Joe Bonamassa Bonabyrd, a true blues man's stylish take on the legendary design, tone and playability of the world's finest guitar.
They actually called it a "BonaByrd"?

I don't like the Bona, but I wouldn't mind a Les Paul XPL:

So unimaginative.

So don't see the point of the Bonamassa hate. You may not like the genre and think his playing is derivative or whatever, but he genuinely seems like a nice guy.
I don't get this guitar though. It's fixing a problem that wasn't there. I like my LPs more traditional.

Yep, I don't really understand what that headstock is supposed to do. I actually quite like otherwise.

It sort of holds one end of the wiry bits and lets you make them tighter and floppier.

The best part of Gibson les Paul's is the headstock. That guitar is ugly as hell. Dunno what he was thinking.

On the other hand, for quite a while I've been thinking that a Les Paul body would be great with a Jaguar neck.

Ironically people who liken the legalization of gay marriage to marrying a horse are probably way into
these goddamn things.
WHY NOT JUST STICK A CELLO HEADSTOCK ON THERE WHILE WE'RE GOING CRAZY

Nice patches of LEL in this thread.
Less Gibsonesque D and G string out-of-tuniness with bends is probably the one thing I reckon we could expect from the 'bird headstock.
