...that they already make a decent trem for Jazzmasters:
American Special Jazzmaster with Bigsby. They are
definitely just trolling the
inclined now.

Would love that colour combination on a 'normal' JM.

Apparently it's also available in CAR and Olympic white.

I think it looks cool but I would definitely prefer a normal JM trem unit.
AND NO SQUIER-ASS TRUSS ROD ACCESS AT THE HEADSTOCK, DAMNIT!

I actually love the convenience of the headstock truss rod, but I prefer when it doesn't come with the black shit around it.

Interesting that it has a CBS Strat headstock instead of a Jazzmaster one... later CBS Jazzies did indeed use that shape, but it's seldom seen on reissues let alone new variations of Fender JM... wonder if the whole neck is being repurposed or shared with a Strat model or something else.
Edit- never mind, I'm pretty sure that actually is the original Jazzmaster headstock but the logo and truss rod stuff threw me off.

Yeah, I don't get the headstock truss adjust hate... it works well, and doesn't look much different. Truss access is split about 50/50 on my instruments, and the ones with access at the head are much easier to maintain.

dont do this to me
tbh the specs are still bland and poor especially foregoing a jazzy trem for a bigsby, as is that original colour scheme in the op
the red/black/white and white/black/white getups are solid though

Ha. Sorry George. Seem to remember liking your Bratomaster. Aesthetically. I haven't broken into your house to play it.

I like the blue one, if it had a normal tremolo, i would totally dig it. But now it is just another attempt at a fender gibson guitar.
