John Cale's 12 string...

Post by dezb1 »

Has a tremolo! Not that keen on the design of the guitar but a trem on a 12 string must sound lush...

my next big project (should it ever happen) is to make a 12 string jazzy trem design

i love that he was able to achieve this design but that kahler style bridge and the overall design is ugly bugly

The overabundance of 70s Warwicky coke-rock aesthetic is not to my liking but the body shape is great. If it were a solid colour and had a TOM or wrap setup (and probably LP Juniory pickguard) I'd love it.

Was based on his lp Junior but the top horn had to be extended to stop teh neck dive... You'd probably like the original Cale 1 guitar with the Bigsby they made for him:

Looks like an evertune trem, pain in the ass to install but might actually keep it in tune
