TC Electronic Ditto X4 first impressions

This arrived this morning, which I was very, very excited about.

What I like:
. Sync and serial modes have functionality akin to a Boomerang. Serial works great for verse/chorus progressions, Sync works great for building some pretty epic stuff.
. Sound quality is fantastic
. Feels sturdy as a tank
. Very easy to clear everything and start again
. Stereo outputs sending to two different amplification sources. This was especially key for me, as a lot of the time I'll be running a synth and a drum machine through a mixer into the one input of the Ditto and my guitar into the other. Being able to route both the synth and drum machine into a different source than the guitar is a real selling point for me.

What I'm iffy about:
. I wish that sync mode actually stopped the loop in a manner that fit perfectly with the first loop. The first loop sets the length of the second loop, but I wish that it configured itself in such a way that it was obvious when both loops were making their progression.
. I wish there was parameter control for the effects. Not being able to chose the length of fade times (you know, so I can have the long, artistic fades I so deeply crave) is a little jarring

I need to spend more time with it, but it's definitely a solid contender in the current looping market.

Very enjoyable demo--I like your set up. Surely it will be useful for others considering the same looper.
