Boss DC-3 vs CE-5 controlled comparison (clean)

Post by Freethenoise »

A bandmate of mine has a couple of old Boss pedals that are out of production knocking about that he let me borrow to make a couple of videos with.

I have the current production model of the CE-5 Chorus Ensemble. I wanted to see how it would sound stacked up to the out of production DC-3 Digital Dimension.

I think I have a thing for old Boss pedals.

Interesting, they are pretty close, but I thought the Space-D sounded a bit more "flangery",

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

The old DC2 and DC3 were great.
