The OD-1 also had no tone controls, but your guitar or amp might.
Looks cool, but not exactly cheap.
Just checked out their site, they also offer a copy of the 2 knob phaser and the high band flanger.

I just see it as powerful dumb to remake an old unit and offer nothing new, not even a few switchable mods to extend it.
