Mine looks almost identical. I had a tough time with the the rotary switch, so I did a workaround.

You built one or have an original?

So this happened... I got my hands on a vintage xii/maverick/custom guard and I am now torn between what guard to use. Whatever one I don't use will go on my xii that I am building and will also be in the same exact sunburst. Spitfire guard on top. Vintage on bottom.

And if anyone was wondering what a Maverick would look like with white pickup covers... weird.

Nice work on those inlays. If you do it anything like me, it's a looonnggg, ssllloooowwww. tedious process. Yours came out real good.
I gotta say that I love that neck jig. I have something similar that I build, but not as nice as yours. I would love to know more about it, and maybe watch a video about how it works.
It is so cool to have fellow builders out there to learn from and share info with.

I'm sorry if I missed it, but what did you use for clear finish? Is that a lacquer or polyurethane? After the last three builds I'm finishing up right now, I don't think I'll ever do lacquer again. Can't believe how long it has taken to harden. The covers I did in poly were dry in a week or so.
