Frets size on the original Mustangs

I remember it was said that original, CIJ and MIJ Stangs have smaller frets than VM Squier Stangs. I guess VM has jumbo size frets. So what's the name or dimensions for frets on original Stangs?
I play my Yamaha acoustic mostly these days and noticed how it is more pleasant to play guitar with smaller frets rather than other modern acoustics/electrics with jumbo frets
