They were reissued a couple of years ago. Almost all Epiphones are made in China, since they have their own factory there. Some models are made in Indonesia and Elitist line is made in Japan. Never seen this model in person, but I'm sure it was made in China

I'm gonna stick my neck out here and say I actually prefer some of the Chinese models over the old Korean models. The pickups and machine heads were rubbish on some of them. Had a few were the bridge rattles because the post holes are slightly larger than the posts as well.
Also, the trend with Epiphones on eBay at the moment is for sellers to state MADE IN KOREA in the title, like Pre CBS Fender or something.
As if its going to add value despite the fret wear and dings on the body
I generally like DC models but can't take to the Genesis and not sure why.
