I feel like if the Meteora was some mad Russian guitar from the 70s we'd all be drooling over it. Not saying I'm a huge fan necessarily, but come on. It's not bad, and it's nice to see Fender experimenting with new offset body shapes.

I think it's the very non-traditional body shape in combination with the start Tele setup that makes it so jarring for me, esp in that classic Tele butterscotch-black colour scheme.

IF THEY CAN FIGURE THIS OUT BACK IN 1966 WHEN THEY MADE THIS GUITAR FOR A TOTAL OF LIKE 10 OR 11 DAYS YOU THINK THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO DO SOMETHING NOW.
