Don't undervalue yourself. Clearly she's drawn like a moth to your brilliance.
(FYI: I've just set it up for her and gonna do an vid-demo and advertise it for her the WEB soon)
So you're talking it down?

I'm pretty sure that part was her idea to begin with, since she designed the guitar to work with her body type and her outfits
Well, I guess that means she's deliberately excluded a large part of the guitar-buying public. How many do have her body type and outfits? Not I, for one (no shoops trying to prove otherwise, please).

It's surprisingly fast and comfortable to play, this one's not heavy at all. Still ugly af tho, she had the worst taste in guitars and now, in men.

It is fucking ugly, imo
Well, it's not that ugly. It's just that design mash ups of guitar bodies don't work 99% of the time, imo

Haha, but you can't sell people on how something LOOKS, not without gaslighting them. It's a nice playing and sounding guitar, but doesn't really do it for me visually. Fortunately, the black-white version is as inoffensive as these get.

Dezb1, you get first dibz1.

I like it too, the whole Explorer-Jaguar-Junior trying to pass itself off as Firebirdy is an interesting concept. I probably wouldn't get on with it though because I'm a titchy fuck.

I did a bit more research on them. After they get built, they get a full set-up and fret dressing in the US. The reviews on the other Sterling models all say the same things - super comfortable, perfect frets, perfect setup from the box.

I just found one for $400 used. Now to find a job so I can spend those $400.

I've always liked these...
I like it too. Unusual yet elegant in it's simplicity. :D

I wouldn't say it's ass, but it doesn't suit my body type and outfits.

Tested the Sterling version yesterday at Guitar Center though an AC4 with an EHX Soul Food and a Gonkulator in front.

Suck a nice guitar. Lightweight, comfortable, really REALLY comfy neck. Great tones... again, SO FUCKING COMFORTABLE. This is the guitar equivalent of a beat up pair of running shoes in regards to comfort.

Now to wait for another $400 use one to appear.

That's good to hear. I've never played any of the modern licensed by MM guitars, so if they're genuine cost effective alternatives to the full fat that's cool. I had a JP6 for a while. Was undoubtedly a tremendous guitar, but for whatever reason it didn't do it for me. But yeah, the neck was amazing.

Plus, Annie Clark is cool, and I like how MM do wacky guitars but still exist as a mainstream brand. All power to them.

I only tested the St Vincent, and was pleasantly impressed - there was a shredder next to me who kept complaining about the other ones being poorly set up, but I had no issues with mine.

Anyway, cost effective works well for me- I'm not playing in bands anymore, and I live in a much more expensive city now than when I played in bands, so the Sterling version is more attractive to me.

One my pupils had a Sterling, possibly the John Petrucci model. It was a brilliant guitar.

those colors are so early 90's I love it, only problem is each color on its own is not near as radical as the group shot of all of them together.

This guitar has a cool shape, headstock doesn't. Ernie Ball ruins a lot of cools shapes with that terrible headstock shape. Plus they're bogarting the cool 4+2 design they didn't even invent.

Interesting (or not) that it doesn't look like Annie is playing the usual rosewood necked version. Is she playing a Sterling?
