It's kind of purple, or at least the top pic, maybe not the one on the bottom as much.

Pink is red mixed with white.

Those Gibsons are getting TERRIBLE reviews. I had a MIGHTY NEED for the Firebird Zero, but then every single thing I saw or read about it was overwhelmingly negative.
