Thanks! They're mainly the Green Russian Big Muff that Julia uses. Then the second channel is a choice of two one-knob fuzzes - a modified Bazz Fuss which is super simple, but makes a lovely doomy growl - and a waspy fuzz loosely based on the Shin Ei FY-2 at its trebliest setting.
I hadn't realised you were looking at making a full guitar. That sounds great. I'd have thought that interesting pickups would had sat easier in your brand.
Also, buffer right at the front of the pedal chain? I thought the point was to sort of reamp things once a few TB pedals had taken a bit out of your signal?

Yeah the prototype guitar was on the Fredric stand at the guitar show. It need a few things doing and I'll make a proper announcement when I'm really happy with it, likely a few guitars down the line. The pickups aren't ready yet (the casings need chrome plating) and the prototype just has placeholder mini humbuckers. But yeah, I'll sell the pickups separately too, but that's something I'm not too keen on just yet. Really just want to make some good single coils for use in Fredric guitars.
Yes, you want the buffer as early as possible. Once treble is lost it isn't put back by a buffer.
Here's a prototype for a limited run of an effect everyone has been calling-out for! This is the Bohm Trick Verzerrer circuit with original NOS East German transistors! Gain + bias trimmers externalised as mini pots. Really happy with this. How does it sound? Wait and see!
The thing with those (turd excepted) is that I think they're based on consoles or amps that are already known to sound good. This Regent pre is more in the 'interesting' camp. Well, I think it's interesting anyway
