Good A/B switch not too expensive

Hi guys,

What is a good A/B switch that doesn't suck tone and is not that expensive? I want to use it for switching between two rigs/amps. Cheers.

Idk how good you are with soldering but if IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m not mistaken an A/B box is just a pedal enclosure with a DPDT Switch, one input, and two outputs isnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t it?

Edit: I know itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s not exactly the recommendation youÃ¢â‚¬â„¢re looking for but I like building pedals (or at least starting and never finishing pedals)

Not sure where you're located but they're only Ã‚Â£26.20 at GAK in the UK.

Today someone recommended me one from EHX, it costs 40 euros. I think I am gonna try that one first.

Hi man, yes that one is available where I live for approximately the same price. But I have read bad reviews about the device. What are your findings with the device?

Also, Ã‚Â£26 is quite good from Fender. You couldn't build one for that unless you already have some parts lying around.

If you're planning on using this live, I'd recommend getting something with isolated outs and buffers, else you're likely to get ground loop issues.

Boss LS-2 ftw, plus it does a million other things.

I've not had any issues with it and the user reviews, for what they're worth, seem to be fairly positive (4.3 out of 5 on Thomann, 4.3 out of 5 on Andertons, 4.5 out of 5 on Google etc).

I've only used it at home though so...

... it might be worth taking heed of Doog's advice if you're planning to gig with it.
