I crashed into one of those when I was 19 and broke it in two. My car was just dented. They were shit cars.

And the A series engine head gaskets wear/warp because of differential expansion leading to failure. My son's first car was the Kensington model ...then he bought a Fiesta that failed MoT because of rust around the central seat belt mounting points.

It was a Fiesta I crashed into the Metro. I loved that XR2, and made a bit of mess of it in the crash, it was definitely a write off, but the Metro was completely ruined.
