Yes. The two screw holes were in the guard but not the body. Unlike the Japanese Jags there was no plunger hole in the guard. So around 11 or 12mm hole drilled into the guard and body about 34mm deep.
Thanks guys! For those not lucky enough to follow me on Instagram @destroying_amps.
I posted this yesterday
My original plan was to paint this guitar..but I cant settle on a colour and strangely I am quite liking the white...I have thought about spraying some tinted nitro on top to age/ dull it a bit. What do you guys think?
I have a couple of guards from Doogs collection to try out on the way, plus some new pickup covers as I had a turmeric accident with the current ones. Plus some new pickup screws
The white does look good. A bit of tinted nitro might make it look even better, but need a be a bit careful with White I think, don’t want it turning custard yellow...

Yes this is my worry. Aged white can either look really good or bile!

Yes that would be the plan, lightest tint available then some extra clear over the top. In fareness if it goes custard in 40 years I am hardly going to care!
It would obviously have to get a matching headstock too...if I went this route...
