Yeah, the bridge pickup should cancel the hum. If you don't want to do anything, just don't. I find that interest in guitars comes in waves to me. Maybe some months later you will feel like it.
Also your Stangs family looks very nice, all three look sweet in their own way each

Thanks.
Oh, I like it. Problem is I'd probably like it with the bridge Duo-Sonic pickup as well. The SDS-1 doesn't really need another pickup, although a dummy coil hum canceller might be nice. I'm thinking maybe a Warmoth Musicmaster type thing. Just thinking...

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

I was actually looking at the Nikolai Volkoff model.
But it would have to be another guitar.

Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about, not aware of Mustang switches of different heights.
Put in the CV Duo-Sonic bridge pickup and did an demo. First I play the 66 Mustang then pause, then the Squier, four times. First with the neck pickup, then both in parallel, then bridge, then both out of phase.

The CV Duo Sonic neck pickup nails the sound of the vintage Mustang pickup. The bridge pickup not so much, but it sounds pretty cool as well.
