Had planned to drill the 4th neck hole in the part of the pocket I routed yesterday and then drill the neck holes. You’d think that the 3 existing holes would be regular Fender spacing...at least I did, but no! So I need to dowel 2 of them and redrill. Oh well, I guess there’s only one thing to say about it... Fuck Aug!
No not pre drilled, which is good. But the old neck had an asymmetric neck plate, not ferrules. I guess I just had it in mind that it would easily take a standard plate just by drilling one extra hole.
Ah, I don't know why I thought it had ferrules. If it were me I'd probably just use the existing plate and drill the neck, it shouldn't affect stability or anything and you'd be keeping some of the original NoHo quirks.
