That makes sense, especially considering I'd have to use the headphone jack as my line output to the Tascam.

I'm not opposed to using the USB-C output to my DAW, but I'm a little worried about how the other trendy 40-something dads will perceive me.

Mike, when did you turn 40? Must have been fairly recently?

Another question: would it make any sense to connect this thing to a pedal board? Seems like it will foolishly hang off the side like a USB dongle. Unless that built-in male jack is attached to a hidden extension cable.

Not sure how I missed them, but happy belated. I suppose half the forum will be 40-something within 5 years. The other half will be 50-something!
