Great looking guitar - silly price - is the guitar I most associate with J after seeing it in the Feel the Pain video back in the day.
In the times before I had t'internet J Mascis was a Tele player and one of the many reasons it is my guitar of choice

They saw how good the Jazzmaster sold.. now theyr squeezing the consumer a bit more..raising price, all good tricks.
His jazzmaster still is in my "Guitars I'd like to get" list.
