disagree completely, but my pushback on the wide range here is aesthetic. the chrome humbucker next to two two aged white pickups looks off in this setting. i can't seem to find wide ranges in anything except chrome -- is the only option to get a cover? i also thought about the idea chrome for the singles instead, but i prefer the plastics on strats for some reason... still might be worth a look in all chrome.Mike wrote:That's the only good thing about this whole guitar.dots wrote:I'd ditch the wide range.
If it's one of the CUNIFE ones, they're absolutely incredible.
i'd also prefer a white or black pickguard to the minty/parchment thing they have there, now that i look at it on a 24" monitor vs. my phone.
the three tone from lake placid blue to daphne is the bees knees, tho. just needs a better hardware selection.

^that's not actually a bad concept, would love to see it in practice. this idea for a second warmoth guitar i've been noodling about has me thinking i might revisit the red/white/blue stripey concept (a la buck owens) i considered a now-defunct bronco build. i'd do the paint in scumbag sparkle, though, i think.
