HAWT. Too bad I’m on a strict no new gear diet

I like all of the elements of this guitar in isolation, but there's too much going on for me.

My thought exactly. If it was natural instead of white it just might work.

I'm one of those people that think maple b&b can work with anything but I do agree that natural is S tier pairing with that neck and probably would be an easier pill to swallow for most people when being presented with "what if we threw a 70s jazz bass neck on your fave guitar" out of the blueplopswagon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 7:18 pm

I would totally do a Jaguar in that color combo with the 70's neck no problem.

Rosewood/ebony/baked maple/synthetic boards that are dark are always over maple for me. I personally don't like finish on a fretboard and would pick a dark board over a maple one.
However if I were at Fender I'd make some blinding white synthetic boards to make a series of all white guitars.

I hope it's not that blurry on the real guitar

I really don't like the look of this, same was with the block inlay squier jazz bass. The blocks looks like some kid put some crazy ass stickers on the neck or that twonk who used to try and pass off his own blocks and blinding guitars as originals got a job in at squier and only been given a sharpie to sort them out.

Block inlay on maple necks will now forever be called twonk inlay.

He's possessed one of the Squier employees and now he's totally gonna modd all over again.lorez wrote: ↑Thu Oct 28, 2021 8:37 pm I really don't like the look of this, same was with the block inlay squier jazz bass.
