Thanks! I cranked it earlier on briefly. Then noticed paramedics going into next doors.

Haha Good work, the amp looks great!
Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe NAD
Damn son, you gotta turn that Response dial down a bit
Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe NAD
I dont mind the chicken heads but I suppose you could change them out.
So I may have stumbled onto a top tip...guys, did you know you can totally have distortion on an amp? its like a pedal but its coming from the amp!
So after using cleanish amp sonds for ever and using pedals for dirt, I might have come across to the dark side. So I actually like my clean and my dirt preset and they are changeable via a footswitch which also has a tuner built in...I could add like 2 extra wacky pedals if I got rid of my tuner and distortion off my board. IS THIS JUST TOO CRAZY?
unfortunatley there is a slight delay when changing to the dirt sound so I would have to get used to that.

Nah, fuck that; it looks ace
Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe NAD
Artists impression of new pedalboard setup
Couldnt get rid of Tuner as its sorting out the tone with its awesome buffer.

Congrats, it looks great! I like how monochromatic (aside from the sticker) that rig is
I just had the same revelation with my new Orange head. Crazy right?
Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe NAD
I mean I feel like I have let somebody down if I continue this path. I will also have to stick my delays in the fx loop...I am basically turning into status quo

Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe NAD
Double post, but I was able to turn the silverline up really loud tonight and it performed amzing! Sounds really good.
It has editing software that you can use while connected to the usb. I added a noise gate to it as Jazzmaster pickups tend to be noisy with high gain. Which cleared up any noise but was still able to sustain into feedback when needed.
The footswitch is stupid though. It has a lag to it, apparently it switches only once the footpedal is released so there is a knack to it. I think I will try and find a 4 button midi controller so I can have quick switching.

Nice. Kinda carries forward the aesthetic of mine (not the color scheme).Doog wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 8:12 amYeah, that is fair enough; I've been eyeing up those 'analog modelling' Vox AVs for ages mainly due to the aesthetics:Hurb wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 7:08 am I know this is going to get me some shit. But these silverlines look pretty...which is a plus 1 for me as I will have to have it live somewhere in the house and Mrs Hurb will have to accept its look. The Katanas are pretty fugly no?
He's dropped the price to 350
It's all part of the package, innit. And now even cheaper!

Autocorrect and not wearing my glasses has gotten the best of me!
Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe NAD
Yeah I couldnt get used to the controller. It has all the features you need but the lag is a dick though.
So I bought a tech 21 midi mongoose second hand and it worked with the amp straight away no need to reprogram anything.
