I'm [Fredric Effects] going to be at this first UK pedal expo on Sunday. It's at The Bonded Warehouse, Stourbridge which is south west of Birmingham. There will be over 20 other UK builders and dealers here with a wide assortment of pedals to try and buy. Perhaps the best news - it's a silent show, with all the demoing done with headphones.

Thanks! Compared to the last show I did this isn't too much of a schlep for me. I'm taking the family so they can watch the stand whilst I check out the competition

Surely this should be named FX PO.

How was it?
I checked out the exhibitor list and I recognised far fewer than I expected, so I've been checking them out online to see who they are and what they do.

It was underattended - I think a pedal-only show is just too niche to do well unless it's held in the middle of a city - but was genuinely nice to meet all the other pedal makers, some of whom I'd heard of but not seen at other guitar shows. I dragged the kids to it and they weren't too bored. They popped out to explore the place and go to a trampoline thing for a few hours tho. I'd also say there's no need for something like this to go on for 7 hours. Not on a Sunday.
