How do you find the Hershey bar pickup?

Thanks everyone. I'm really diggin this thing. The pickup sounds nice and clean but can get nasty. The catalog price on this was $69.50 back in the day.

Re: NOGD!
Love these, passed up a dual pickup one a few years ago (not the same model, but a similar Alden), wish I hadn't. Might start the search again at some point..
Have been playing a modern Silvertone Jupiter reissue with Mojo pickups 'goldfoils that look like Firebird pups' for years now.

If i didn't think this would arrive in several pieces...

Re: NOGD!
Do they behave any differently than regular singles/humbuckers, like cleaning up with the volume rolled back? And how noisy are they? I've always wanted big singles in a minihumbucker/firebird pickup format.

Re: NOGD!
Is that in Wunjo?
Re: NOGD!
I need to redo the wiring on mine, I think I naused something up all those years ago as I think the pots behave a bit strangely. I don't feel like the pickups behave any differently, they have a slightly mid-scooped vibe?
And aye Nick, it's Wunjo one hundo
Re: NOGD!
These can sounds really good with that dearmond pickup.

Your reissue looks really nice, I didn't know there was a reissue for the Jupiter. I'll definitely be on the lookout for those now.

Re: NOGD!
Thanks man! It's really a 'reissue' by name and vibe alone, although it had the wacky blender circuit that I removed as it sounded like arse. It's a solid body with a TOM, modern neck and flat radius; that '60s Alden felt like a parlour acoustic by comparison! I don't normally go for 'clubby' necks, but it was pretty slim across the 'nut dimension' (lol) and I really enjoyed it.
They've since released the reissues with Dearmond pickups (rather than the stock Filtertone-style units mine originally had), although they seemed to have removed that info from their site now.

Re: NOGD!
Those really look sweet. I had looked at the Silvertone 1449 reissue at one time but was bummed to see it was a solid body. I'm still on the hunt for an original Silvertone 1448 that I can afford. Unfortunately the odds against me finding an affordable one grow greater as time passes.

Re: NOGD!
Do you still have the Flat Duo Jets one that you built? That one was awesome.

No, I wish I did. That thing sounded great. I'm on the hunt for another to fix up.
