pictures of your gear here

Re: pictures of your gear here
Yeah, I had the mini for a while; found it too subby as a direct M'POG replacement in my setup, but it's still good. Definitely less 'metallic' than the POGs, which sounds nicer with cleaner sounds, but not as sharp with distorted tones.

Shit, Freddy did mention it. £30 is a bargain

And thank you, Doog, of course!

I like the idea of a single metal enclosure box with "Stompbax" written on it. You download whatever algorithm you want in it and it turns into a fuzz, octave pedal, even a Bad Monkey, and you tweak the settings from your phone with two dials "More Woman Toan" and "Less Woman Toan".

This is what loads of the TC Electronic pedals do, old stick.

If I ever have the money to get Mike to build me some pedals, I’d make inclosure design like the old generic grocery labels.

A two knob Value Drive would be a great looking thing.

Haha, I would just label them all “Beans”!
Re: pictures of your gear here
Woah, being behind the times I didn't know that.

Re: pictures of your gear here
I think I nicked "Stompbax" from one of your posts. You should patent it before Josh Scott steals ot.

Re: pictures of your gear here
It seems that naming pedals after value food labels has been done, and by Josh Scott. Spooky

Ok then, I’m going to name future pedals Josh Scott and John Mayer. They’ll suck.
Re: pictures of your gear here

Re: pictures of your gear here
Found a suitcase *almost* the perfect size so I no longer need to stretch the zipper around the massive Valco fuzz. $5 at an estate sale:

Nice and hopefully doesn’t smell like cat pee (I tend to assume all things like that smell like cat pee.)
Re: pictures of your gear here
That's one giant fuzz and a nice suitcase.

Re: pictures of your gear here
My pedalboard build keeps moving forward.
I just added a used Strymon DIG v1 and Strymon Miniswitch to save one preset.
My next pedal will hopefully be used Strymon Deco V1 with MiniSwitch. I read you can actually use a miniswitch to give the Deco tap tempo which could be interesting.
