Hey Shortscale; it's been a while.
At some point it seems the screw holding the pinion gear on my Jazz Bass D-string tuner fell out, and I can't find it, nor the washer it had with it. Luckily, the pinion gear held in place... but now I need replacements.
I'm not really finding information on the part type for this screw, and searches are only coming up with the screws that hold the whole tuner in place, or full tuner sets... anyone know what type of screw this is?

I'm probably not going to be able to help much, but are we talking USA made?

Yeah it’s going to vary depending where it was made.
You could remove one of the other ones and take it to the hardware store and measure it out.

Japanese; second run Aerodyne.
More digging and it might be a #12-24 3/4”… but perhaps not. I’ve temporarily put a rack unit mounting screw in it to prevent things falling out… and aside from being too long, it threaded in ok, so might be 10-32.
Tried to cut one down with a hack saw, but the steel is *hard*, flattened the teeth of the blade.
