That’s a Toronado bridge.

To be honest it wasn’t my original plan but the black is really growing on me…I still like the white though, we’ll see.Freddy V-C wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:46 pm God damn, I actually love the black-on-yellow colour scheme. This is my first time seeing it!
If they made a shortscale bass in this scheme (Mustang, Bronco, whatever, I'm not fussy) then I'm afraid I would immediately be £200 poorer.
They also made a Bullet HH version, they were on Fender clearance for a while, almost went for one:

Very unlikely to actually go for this (unless the seller is prepared to settle for a hilariously lowball offer), but oh nooo: http://reverb.com/uk/item/78304305-mus ... tar-yellow

That bridge just looks wrong to me.Freddy V-C wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 3:32 pm Very unlikely to actually go for this (unless the seller is prepared to settle for a hilariously lowball offer), but oh nooo: http://reverb.com/uk/item/78304305-must ... tar-yellow

I love everything about it, looks-wise, including the cheddar cheese bridge. Just don't think a partscaster from an "unknown builder" is worth £300.
If it's still unsold in a couple of months I might offer £180.

Shoot, that's right

I strongly considered messaging plops about the bridge plate, I prefer it aesthetically, I just can’t bring myself to go back to 3 saddles when 6 saddle options anre available (did the same with my thinline Tele build)
And I also like the yellow painted bridge on that Mustang bass, it’s so hilariously wrong it just works. Like it’s made from a street sign or part of a school bus or something.
