You're copying Robroe's guitars as it is. Start copying me and I will steal your entire collection.

burgundy mist strats are sexy anyway, but here is a crude mockup of what eventually may be.

Don't even think of doing that to that poor guitar. Fran's looks retarded, and doing it to an awesome guitar body in a color that doesn't suck is just plain stupid. You know how to finish guitars, get a squier and go re-ranch on its ass if you want to make something that ugly. (imo the strat body is not near big enough to make the bigass jag pickguard look cool).

I honestly don't care if you have the same guitar as me. They're beautiful.

We'll I'm convinced not to do it after catching up on some forum history. Only now, i have a sexy burgundy mist body on the way. I've wanted to piece one up together ever since I saw the color on an actual guitar, preferably a jazzy but its the only color ive seen make a strat look sexy. I do want to eventually work on a jazzy, probably shorline gold....

I can't seem to find an update on Fran's project though. I really want to see how that turned out. I'm not the biggest Stone Roses fan by a long shot but that John Squier guitar is effin awesome, but seeing how landon already though of it too, I noticed its somewhat of a developing trend. mission abandoned. on to Warcraft...

Squier's wasn't a Strat body though, it was a P-Bass.

True, but the strat+jag combo is very reminiscent of what he had. I wasn't planning on making the same thing though.

Update on this slow-ass project. Ebay'd a MIM neck and GFS superstrat pg. You can adjust phase for all 3 pickups, which I haven't bought yet. I'm also thinking white robroes on all 3

i try not to disagree with Shad (i fear his jedi lightningz) but WHITE. it'll accent the Burgundy Mist better.

Seriously black would look awful on that guitar... it needs whiteness!
