I just play the amps mostly, the AC30, Twin and JCM800 are all brilliant.

GuitarRig 2 has some of the better Fuzz simulations.
I usually find the fuzz models on multi-effects to be GARBAGE, I don't know if that's cause they're digital or what.
Also what exactly is a digital fuzz? If it has an Op-Amp is it digital? There are plenty of cool fuzzes that use chips.

So maybe digital fuzzes do indeed suck. Can't say I know of any that sound good. If you know any, let me know.

I'm not the man to ask, I'm not a big fuzz head - I'm more of an overdrive guy.
Check out my thread with the samples, there's some cool fuzz samples in there you might be interested in.

The fuzz might be interesting. I do enjoy my old FZ-3.

The old Boss Fuzz was garbage, complete and utter. I even managed to break mine.
Is the Zoom Ultrafuzz a digital pedal? That sounds pretty good.

Presumably aimed at DI recording.. I can't see why you'd want to put an amp sim in line with your own real amplifier..

Trew, that has the possibility of being the Bad MOnkey killer. I really prefer "tweed overdrive" to "tube screamer grit" but am not about to shell out $600 for a little tube amp, just for dirt.

I can't remember if I had the FZ-2 or FZ-3. All I know is, it was pretty fucking dismal.

did yours have a boost function on it? if so it was the fz-2. its the nastiest/harshest of the 2.
