You need to stack the 4x12 on the 2x12, and plop the head on top. Then take a picture. RAWK.

haha.. I would except:

The 4x12" has castors that I'd need to take off.
I couldn't have them both on because one is 16 ohms and the other is 8 ohms and there ain't no 5.33 ohms setting on my head.

Holy shit was it big. A full stack is just ridiculous, this is 3/4 and it's mental.

I used the Jazzmaster for height. The 4x12" is a little wider and WAY deeper than the oversized 2x12"

Also the casters spin out and on real easy so I just pulled them out and decided to whack em on my 2x12". SEXY:

I've just cum.

I always figured the 2x12 and 4x12 base would be the same width and depth..

lmfao

It was a sight to behold.

The width difference is very small - like a half inch, but you can only tell because you seat on edge in line and the other overhangs slightly - however this could be due to the fact that my 1960A is like 25 years old and my 1936 was bought last year... Maybe wood thickeness or materials have changed?

The depth however is noticeable, the flat section at the top of the angle is about the same as the 2x12" topdown footprint, maybe slightly smaller, so as you can appreciate the bottom which is flared outwards is deeper, by about 3-4".

I wish I could run them both at the same time but alas I can't. The only options are 4x12" and the left half of the 2x12" (16 ohms // 16 ohms) or to replace both speakers in the 1936 with 8 ohm drivers connected in series so then I can run all 6 speakers.

Practically I'll never do it but it's nice to work out how you can do these things in the event.

Powerblock>2x12, 6100>4x12. Stack the 6100 and Powerblock on the 2x12. Y splitter for guitar signal.

lol.. you mean the 2x12" with the head and PowerBlock on it andthe 4x12" next to them?

Leaving Gareth with just a 1x12" Combo hahhah

Or do you mean PowerBlock into one of the 2x12" speakers and the 6100 into the other?

Just wait, I'll have the JVM in a month or so. I'll run the JVM410 into the 4x12" out of the direct out from my DMM and the Echo out into the 6100 to the 2x12". At least once I will do this.

Maybe I can get a MIDI controller and switch channels on the JVM and 6100 at the same time. Muhahahaha

My orange is the same, but the marshals are a bit smaller, but i've always wondered why myself.

Stack the 6100 on the 2x12, and put the Powerblock on top. Block connected to the 2x12, 6100 to the 4x12

my brother left his 2000 tsl half-stack over here, so i've got two half-stacks with 4 heads on top in the other room, i'm almost scared to look at it.

I have a 412 with two heads on it. One's a marshall head, but the other's a dinky wee vavle junior, so it's none too impressive lookin'. Although it is on to of my dresser, so it is kinda stack sized.
