Fix'd.

Like I said, I love the way I can feel in control of my skinny Jag-Stang neck, but I've played thick Telecaster necks that stick out much more and I can only just get my hands around them, but I still find those comfortable and in many ways they're just as good. One of the best necks I played was the neck on a Telecaster Deluxe, it's just the right size and the fretboard was a beautiful glossy maple, playing one of those makes you realise why Mike's so bitchy all the time, he's just pissed that he can't be playing his awesome guitar.
I am not bitchy all the time. Only at my time of the month.

But you're right in that the neck on the Telecaster Deluxe (whatever it is - C profile?) does feel wonderful. However I like the way my Jazzmaster and acoustic necks feel too - it's weird. I don't think I have a type i like - just some guitars I love.
The necks on my Jag-stang and Tele are thin, so when I got the Squier '51, with a thicker neck than I'm used to, I wasn't sure for a whil, but now Ilike it. I like guitars to have different characters. Th thick neck forces me to play differently, which is nice. Refreshing, like.

i dont use back of neck for my hands , i use for my fingers
so thin Back are better :)

for people like play like kurt or Hendrix or like use full hands on neck , its other way and i agree if you play like that ....
I don't understand what you mean, but you at least tried to explain why you like thin necks, so that's fair enough. How long until you get this thing?

the 51s have nice necks, even better if they had rolled fretboard edges. but they aren't 'thick', just average, i reckon. i don't like very thin necks

i want a 51, but not at 200 euros/260 dollars
everything is not going to be alright
