hey, nothing wrong with solid state marshalls, i LOVE my valvestate.
though woah, the MG series aint even hybrid valvestates.
im supriused someone as tone-obsessed as icey isn't using some insanely expensive custom tube-based thing.

I've never played one that sounded alright. One of my friends has a very nice guitar ('82 gibson LP Studio) and very nice cab (Marshall 1960A) but he runs an MG head through it and it craps up the whole setup.
