The switch had just finally gave in after putting in 30 years. They said that it's now the only non-original bit of the innards, excluding the tubes.

Sounds the same. Besides, these dudes have known me since I was an IRL noob.
Green Shift sells comics and guitars, and my dad collects the former and has been buying from them for decades.

BTW, I messed with the hum balance (I didn't use my wilkins), and got rid of 90% of the hum! WOW. Thanks Filtercap!!
