Nothing incredible, but cool to hear them side by side, albeit through different size cabs.
Part 1:
Part 2:
Doesn't say which amp is which on the first video though, unfortunately. Going the other video, the 800 is the smoother sounding of the two.

cheers for posting this.
Sounds like he has the DSL set up for more gain than the JCM800 on the first clip. The second is cool and shows you how much nicer the Clean Channel on the DSL is, more spanky, bright and complex harmonically.
The 800 does seem smoother but the DSL doesn't sound bad. I think a better comparison would have been on the Crunch mode of the Clean channel.

One day I'm gonna see if I can get my amp modded to make the Ultra channel an extension of the Classic channels Crunch setting, it'd be so much more usable. I wonder if it's even possible..

I reckon you could voice it easily with some cap changes and more importantly drop the gain. Get a 12DW7 and a 12AU7/12AT7 and try them in the Ultra channel preamp positions - it'll make a massive difference, part of the Ultra channel difference from the Crunch in Channel A is extra gain stages, you can reduce these using lower gain preamp tubes.
