Wiring Help

Post by mumblyjoe »

This weekend going to be racking in a fair amount of money and I will finally be able to afford to finish the custom guitar. Anyho, here was my plan with it:

- Neck pickup: Fender Tex-Mex
- Bridge: DiMarzio Tone Zone
- Neck switch: 3-way mustang, pickup selector
- Bridge: 3-way mustang, humbucker split
- Two concentric pots, one for each pickup, tone and vol

That's the basics of it. I'm hopeless though at drawing wiring diagrams and also don't know much about caps and resistors. If I had a diagram, I should be able to follow it. Can anyone help out?

Also I'm planning on replacing the singles in my modified Squier strat. ATM I have a copy JB in the bridge and standard squier singles in middle and neck. I want to try something interesting, any ideas?

When you buy the Tone Zone it will come with a schematic that tells you how to wire it Series-Split-Parallel with a Mustang switch.
