i have a cab with 15" speaker in too so I'm set that way, i would probably buy second hand because I'm cheap like that. a nano sold on the bay for 130 quid yesterday. for that price is it a good amp? I'm thinking a tiny terror over it though because i trust your opinion and you haven't shut up about them in months
haha.. I am a bit of a Tiny Terror fanboy.

The way I see it is this - a Nano head is a cool thing, you can really crank it at bedroom volumes and blah blah I've falled asleep. BUT it uses an obscure tube which would be a pain to replace and if it fails ain't gonna be noone willing to fix that thing. Also it's not giggable or practiseable.

The TT can be used for both clean and overdriven tones and at practise and rehearsal/small gig volumes, it's hardy and uses easily replaceable components and will be simply fixed. And it's an Orange.

I think that the TT will be a perfect complement to your cleaner than clean spanky Fender t00b amp - a Musicmaster is too similar, the TT will let you experiment with nice sounding t00b overdrive.

£132 exactly. I was watching that too Hurb. It was a good price for a Nano Head considering it costs near enough to £500 new.

Zvex offers a lifetime warranty on everything but the Vexter series.

aye thats what worried me about the nano, the guide to changing tubes on the thing was fiddly to say the least.

and euan i would be well pissed if i was the guy selling that nano.

i guess the tt is something that i could later get a nice cab for, that i could share with a louder amp later on.

I would sell off the 30th Anniversary if the JVM can do it all. Havin two spiffy Marshall heads seems like craziness, spesh when you've already got a small backup one.

You mean the powerblock? Yeah I guess you're right - but I'd still miss the 6100. It's a stupid situation, but now that I'm in it it's like "Well if one head is screwed I can use the other which sounds great too for gigs and practice" and that's way better than "The powerblock will get me to the end of the night and then I'll be annoyed until the head is fixed".

It's totally stupid and I'm a complete crackhead but I can't let it go. Tiny Terrors just sound too great though and keep fluttering their eyes at me. I'm an idiot.

Returning to the the Valve Junior Head, there's people doing bitching awesome mods to them and selling them on the bay.

Take this one for example

He's doubled the price and tripled the awesome.

Whatever it takes. Do you only normally take one guitar to gigs?

While that is awesome if he was going to all that effort, he could have added a fucking Tone Stack. It's like 4 resistors and 3 caps ffs.

Yeah.

I can restring pretty quick if I break a string, which I have done live.
I dunno - I'm not sure how much my Jazzer would go for even if I did sell it. There's a small ding on the upper horn that's been there since i got it second hand.

It's got good pups, that'd help. I'd say 300 or so?

I had a look and 300-350 looks like the going rate. Depends if anyone is interested. I might consider it. Need to think.

Getting a Jazzmaster for £300 would be amazing for me. Pity even the second hand ones are closer to £500 :(

Yeah, I was just thinking about how that'd be an awesome deal, it's just a shame that my Tiny Terror requires about that much money. I need to resist urges!

£300 is pretty much going rate for righthanders on ebay. Of course mine might command more here because it's mine and that shuold bump up the cost significantly.

right?
