i sling it pretty low, too, cos i always have. iam tOTalLy ME-TAL.

i gotta go w/ robert here. you need to add some hardware before you say that pots and pups make it jag-esque. else, it's basically a cyclone/bronco hybrid. cool nonetheless, but we're all about truth in advertising around here.

yes, aug and i designed it to fit jag pickups with the claws. they're a little snug, but they fit.

i still refer to it as the bronco. i was just worried that i'd post it here and people would say:
hey that's not a bronco! it has jaguar pickups in it!
so, i thought of something quick and, as usual, it backfired.

ok, i finally got the finish on the bronco. it didn't turn out so great. actually it was perfect this morning, but i thought it couldn't hurt to put one more coat of clear on it. i was so wrong. first, it got lint and cat hair stuck in the finish, then i accidently touched part of it and completely messed up the finish in one spot. then i sanded down the messed up part, but it went through to the wood. i'm all out of color coat, so i'm just not gonna bother getting a whole new can just to touch up one little spot. i've spent too much time on it, and i really just want to play it. maybe some day i'll get it done right, but for now i'm just gonna leave it. i guess it's not too bad for my first time finishing a guitar.
here are some pictures for you guys to enjoy. when i get home, i'll put the whole thing together and put up some more pictures.
