Sooo, when I use my Blue Box for more then a few minutes at higher volume my solid state amp gets pretty hot, especially if I have a fair amount of the octave signal tuned in. Is that a problem? I mean, I know that the bass frequencies have a lot of inertia, but it doesn't seem like that would make the transformers hot.
Should I worry? Should I find another fuzz or a better amp?

It gets better when I turn the bass down, but I already have it pretty low. It's not as big of a problem when I'm using a big amp with a lot of headroom (like my Bassman), but my little Marshall practice amp heats up pretty fast. I guess I'm also a little worried that it could damage my other pedals, although that's probably just gear paranoia.
