Strat body.... don't hate me!

Painting? Routing? Set-up tips? Or just straight-up making a guitar from scratch? Post here, and post pics!

i'm going to look for chrome robroes. Chrome with polepieces reminds me of some sort of john 5 wackiness i'd rather not be near. Either that or I'll stick to white robroes. We'll see once i get more money.

I'm really interested in getting these pickups, but whats the point of clear pickup covers?

They have the silver with holes ones on there.

You can always push the polepieces down flush with the pickup if you want.

If you want to shell out the big $$, you could get lace chromes.

I've been too broke for pickups these days, so i ripped some off my little bro's squier strat and wired to test the phase tickery with the switches. Honestly this guitar plays and sounds real nice even with the cheap pickups. I'd say its up to par with my RI mustang.I'm still going to get some better ones once i get the cash, however. I'm getting attached to white robroes
