yeah much better to have the extra switch. i would say that the rc-2 without it is a great at home looper. but with the extra switch it makes it better for live use.

hurb, i was wondering.. what kind of george l cable do you use for your patch cables; 0.225 or 0.115 ? i heard things about differences in sound between the thinner (more flexible) cable and the thicker one. .. ?

Indeed.

I doubt they actually sound different, I imagine it's purely practical convenience that there are two sizes.

Latest addition, homebuilt Bypass/Feedback Loop. It needs a clearcoat or something to be totally finished.

haha cute picture

I had one of dem, it's the only piece of gear I ever owned that is unaccounted for - I have no idea where that pedal is. I liked it though.

i can imagine using it on bass for higher region melodic stuff (yes.. the terrible 12th fret region ! ) with some dirt on top of it, i have an octaver on my ashdown bass head but it's way too subtle plus it ain't footswitcheable but it's because of that feature that i really wanted an octaver to fatten up certain parts.

i'm afraid i'm gonna have to leave out the red repeat on my bass board tho.. i only use it once during a set (the intro) but it's not really a must so it will get a spot on my guitar board (i'm using the ehx softcase as my pedalboard for guitar, it has the pedals that have been dumped for bass use..hehe)

but yeah.. tomorrow i've nothing to do so i'll try to record some random stuff.

btw, i'm in the market for a replacement phaser for the pepperoni one.. preferably under €100 and tiny..
also.. i've been thinking about replacing the chorus with a reverb pedal... i'm starting to hate chorus :P

Cool, octavers are fun-o. Putting it before your dirt source (start of chain ideally) and using the neck pup gives the best results 8)

Nano is cheaper I guess. I like the sound of the MXR after a Whammy at -1octave though.
