Good point. I liked the sound, but it wasn't quite what I was after. That and the "clean boost" was a crock of shit, it added a subtle nasty clip even with the level low and changed the tone of the signal.Mike wrote:I fawt you didn't like TEH BB2?

Re: HAI D00DZ HEP ME OUT
when i was using the bassman rig, i employed a boss od3 and a marhsall blues breaker ii to approximate different marshall tones. od3 on low will get old school crunch; bb2 can yield a more modern overdrive. put them them together, and you get that ultra-high gain marshall sound.theshadowofseattle wrote:I'm a bit over ballz to the wallz fuzz at the moment, so I'm thinking of buying a distortion or overdrive. My Juice Box's nasally gain boost doesn't cut it for rhythm unless I'm putting humbuckers through it. What do you ngz recommend?
All of my favorite distortion sounds I'd like to achieve seem to be done with Marshalls. What would make my Bassman sond like a Marshall? Think Placebo's "Scared of Girls."
