I picked up a Behringer VD-1 as a birthday present for my nephew, but until the 25th, I'm going to play around with it.

It's smaller than my EHX NYC Muff. The overall sound is way less fuzzy, more like a distortion, kind of like a Russian muff. The tone control is more like a standard one instead of my beloved "below 5 treble cut, above 5 bass cut" on the Muff. It's also less loud.

I liked it more than the NYC Muff. Build and bypass were poo though, but you get whatcha pay fer.
