yeh actually it's not that small - just looks that way in comparison to the other huge peavey amps in the vid.

also it's 9kg in weight!! thats really freaking heavy for such a small amp! must have a powerful speaker for it's size.
tr00 it's heavy for it's size, but that could be do to the transformer and the t00bs, it probably does have a pretty ace speaker though.

Here is a Crate single ended el-84 amp, with a 10 inch speaker. Most of these type have an 8inch speaker or smaller. $199, but I got sneaky feeling price is dropping on these soon as Crate has an all new vintage inspired tube amp line.

Those crates are probably one of the most surprising amps i think i ever played. I plugged it in expecting not every much, but it was simply amazing. The cleans were extreamly nice, and the OD was breath taking. As for the Valveking's, i dont like them, but this may be different.

i remember reading about the Crate V8 Palomino.

Sadly, it never came out in the UK :(

and even if it did, the pricing would probably be £199 ($400). becauses thats how they do money conversions on guitar stuff over here.

we got one in my shop last week and the first thing i noticed was that it was REALLY loud. its also really dark sounding. it sounded great with the mim tele i played through it, but i played an ltd with hb's and it was almost too dark. but it was really loud and it sounded pretty good.

deff needs a new speaker.

fxk yh.

the crate v series and palamino amps are freakin' gold. i used to hate crate until i tried that shit, then i really really wanted one. i played my friend's v123 or something and i almost shat myself with glee. he got rid of it for some reason though. damn.
