I suggest that your neck butt and guard follow the same curve. That even gives you more shredder frets (although the frets could stop at the usual point. I suppose that complicates the production). I like the flat side 3x3 and repeated the curves of the top of the body into the headstock. It's very surfy. You could call it the Don Ho. They could all use No or Ho, like Hojo, HoDown, etc.
There was a design movement (out of Cali) in the 60s called
Googie. It was all diners, bowling alleys, and liquor stores. When you see retro fashion, it borrows heavily from that style. It's a blend of outrageous exaggeration, with curves and star spikes. Fairly clean and generally asymmetrical.
