I actually like it like that. It's different.Malik wrote:The hard tail in the middle of the pickguard hinders on the elegance I think. It kinda lacks some style, if you don't mind me saying. It's just bolted on...
Design-wise, what do you think?

that would be quite cool. If i plan on ordering one, i would lke a tremolo.Aug wrote:I'm thinking I'd like to do something similar to the Jaguar's tremolo, but have most of the guts under the pickguard...but, before I get too crazy and start taking tremolo orders, I should make a few prototypes.zoinks wrote:Are you planning on doing a tremolo design? If you are, what type?
Also, I'm not married to the idea of using the Jaguar's trem as a jumping off point, I'm just trying to decide the best why to hide the trem.

Of all the bridge choices, it was the most handsome. Also, we just aren't at that stage where we can afford to design and build our own bridges/trems/whatnot. In time, however, I hope for that to change, but for now...I'll just have to make do with what's available.Malik wrote:The hard tail in the middle of the pickguard hinders on the elegance I think. The jaguar tremolo, sounds like the best idea. I saw these , and thought it would be easiest, But the price is a bitch.

QUESTION:
I'm going to go ahead and use GFS Pro-Tube lipsticks, and according to the site, they'll fit a Strat with no mods, which means I can use a standard Fender single-coil template for the pickguard. Now for the question: I don't what screwholes/screws fucking up the look of the guard, so I want to mount them straight to the body with the strings under the tab, as opposed to between the tab and the pickguard. I will ship these guitars setup, so do youse guys care?
Wait...nevermind...this is MY FUCKING VISION! You'll get what I give you!
