for 350$ at my favorite local shop. i think i'm gonna try to get it.
i'd like an ampeg or fender, but i like these too, and they have better overdrive than alot of fenders in that price range.

Excellent. Classic 30's kick ass. I was looking earlier at the Delta Blues, which is basically teh classic 30, but with a tremelo, and a 15" speaker.

I'm definitely buying one.

yeah, i've only played the 30 and liked it. this will be louder, and is the speaker combo that i'm used to, so i think it will be a nice fit.

otherwise, if i can find a tubeworks amp, which i don't think are made anymore, that would be even better.

I seem to remember the calssic 30 being pretty loud anyway, so I suppose that'll be a bit cleaner. Does the 50 have independent eq for the channels? because it's shared on the 30, which is a bit shit.

Typing that sentence, I remembered why I've always thought there ought to be a question mark that has a comma at the bottom, instead of a dot.

i don't remember, but i'm guessing it is shared, cause they're basically peavey's answer to fender classic and deville.
and yeah, the 30 is plenty loud for playing gigs, so this will be even more so.

and i love the idea of a ?,

I would start using it, but anything I write by hand, no-one else can read anyway, and there's no sucj button on a keyboard. shame.

They're great amps, Classic 30's and 50's. You have a bit of a compromise with the shared EQ but the dirt is a lot better than the shite you get on Deluxes and Devilles, and you can throw an EQ pedal in the loop to even stuff up should you desire.
