I'm all in favor of new gimicky gadgets that make guitars function better. But that's just stupid.

I don't know, dudes. When I play my nephew's Bullet, I can hear the springs pretty loudly. Don't think it comes through on the amp though.

Duct tape? It's never bothered me, but I can think of a few ways that are a lot less hassle than that.

I like the sound. Meh.

I almost thought his guitar was awesome. Then I realised he bought the scalloped Yngwie Strat. What a loser.

Lolz @ string break

I have a piece of flat foam over my springs to stop that. I don't use the trem on the Strat (it's blocked off), but it sounds and feels better with the springs still attached.

Except this kills that natural reverb that a strat has and the whole uniqueness of it.

I just find the atonal ringing irritating when I'm playing the guitar quietly, ditto with the Jazzmaster- the Buzzstop sorted that shit out.

Having something ring out when you're recording something tight and stacatto is teh suck.

The production values of that video were more annoying than a few dissonant overtones. What a chonst.
