thats freaking sweet dude, I'm making my girlfriend a bass I have a shortscale neck that is a little minter so I'm gonna build a jazzmaster shaped body for it, should be fun, how long did it take you to do the body and routing?

Looks sweet! is that a warmoth neck? My JS has that same side of the neck truss rod adjustment. :wink:

I don't think it should be favouritism, more how much they deserve it. Like Doog, Mike gigs a lot. He contributes a lot to this forum, and so what if he has a rather aggressive personality at times? It just wouldn't be Mike otherwise. Mike only has one guitar at the moment, so you can bet he'll actually put his custom to good use, much like the Doogcaster.

I can't really think of anyone else who would make good use of one. There are some nice personalities about, but active musicians are more of a priority I'd say.

I reckon the Augcasters are more of a priority right now than the next SS Team Build, so we'll see. But Mike has my vote for the above reasons...

Not to derail or anything, that's a nice guitar, but personally I reckon a white pickguard would look soooo much better.
