Weirdo pickup question

You guyses know which, if any, blade style pickups that will fit under these jobs?

Problem is, the rail pickups are designed as a whole- they don't need covers, so they'll already be the full singlecoil size.

Hmmm, are the covers removable on Lace Sensors.

See, I'm trying to find a decent replacement pickup for a Musicmaster bass and use the original cover. Maintain stock look - yes. Some jackhole logo - do not want.

depends...I got this carvin twin blade bucker in a robroe cover by trimming the upper corner edges and softening the cover with heat.

the pickguard fit was tight, so I opened the hole by scraping the guard with the edge of a pocket knife.

You could also cut the top off and file/sand it down to make a cap that you could epoxy on there.

Use a jewler's saw when cutting a tort pg and you could have pup covers that would match the grain on the pg. How sweet would that be.

I cut tort on the router table at 22,500 RPM...that's not the issue...drilling with a bit that has too much of a cut is the problem.

You're missing what I'm saying. Cut the hole for the pup. Take that oval blank out. Glue it on pup. Assemble. Tho tort will match the spot you took it from exactly. It would be an almost seamless look to it.
